The impressive Room of taste (the grand-café at the ground floor) bar can accommodate a maximum of 30 persons for an informal drink. No better place to conclude your meetings at the end of the day or to have a drink before having your dinner in restaurant Oudaen.

Terraces

At our ground floor terrace you are witness to the dazzling nightlife. When weather permits, our second terrace is also open. This terrace is situated next to the unique Utrecht yards. Thanks to the sheltered position it gives you the ultimate experience of the quiet and peaceful water. The yard terrace can be exclusively yours to rent.

Halls

Wanting to organize a private drink or reception for up to 200 persons? Thanks to the monumental and historical characteristics of this medieval city castle no hall is equal in size or atmosphere.

Brewery

It is possible to exclusively rent the brewery, where different kind of beers are still brewed. Our brewery is the ideal and very special location for an informal drink or reception. Below street level the brewery is composed of various vaults which are connected with each other and which all lead to the yard. The yard terrace is situated at ground level and is stretched out alongside the whole length of the castle.
